RaiRai is best when lightly toasted. Seriously—it brings out the rich, malty flavour and gives you that perfect soft crunch. Lightly toast it before you build a sandwich or eat it simply covered in butter.

The bread tastes amazing and the subscription option is really convenient and flexible. As you can see, we both look forward to the deliveries - I get the bread and he gets the box.
I'm short of words to express the benefits of Rairai to my gut bacteria, not to mention the delicious texture and taste of a full fibre rye bread. Kiitos!
I love the versatility of rairai. It's great toasted, made as open sandwiches, warmed up in the microwave or as traditional cold sandwich in packed lunch. Today I topped it with cooked gammon, beans and cheese. It's filling, low fat and absolutely delicious 😋 Thank you!
We've only just discovered Rai Rai but we absolutely love it! My favourite way to have it so dar is with crunchy peanut butter, topped with sliced banana, drizzled with honey and a sprinkling of raw cacao nibs on top - delicious 😋
Great to have delicious Finnish rye bread in Scotland! I thought it would be baked in Edinburgh but apparently it is sent to UK from a bakery in Lapland (am I correct?)
I’m amazed how fresh it still is on arrival, even though the courier delivery was delayed by 24 hours (their fault, not RaiRai’s!).
Very good bread, erittäin hyvää kiitos!
After living 30yrs in the UK, I can finally get proper rye bread from you!!😍🤩
It's the no 1 dark malt bread you can get!! I love mine so much , I don't even have time to toast it!!😁😋😋
I sincerely RECOMMEND this bread!!
RAIRAI!! 😋💙😋
Rairai is the best thing since sliced bread! Delivered every month, it works as breakfast, lunch and snacking! Great flavor and ultimately a perfect rye bread that works with everything! Thank you RaiRai 😋
Having lived in Finland 2012 through to 2019 I had become accustomed to my daily Rye Bread. On return to UK I missed the taste and the health benefits of the fibre etc. have bought imported rye breads from the scandi shop which were nice but these are better. Fresher and tastier. My daily treat at breakfast time and with 10g of fibre in a couple of pieces what’s not to love.
This is the real stuff! And I dare say, better than Reissumies!🙉🙊 I’m a Finn who has lived in the UK for 14 years and I nearly cried when I tried this. Better yet, it arrives so fresh! Thank you RaiRai team you have made my life here that little bit better💙🤍
We love Rairai because it means we can have Finnish Rye bread anytime. Whether enjoyed with simple slices of cheese to something a little more complex like hummus and feta with veg, we will keep ordering because they are a staple in our household.
This is my favourite bread of all. Tastes lovely, stores well and toasts well (from frozen, microwave 20 seconds, pop in toaster - soft on inside toasty on outside!). Full of flavour and is just brilliant. Loving the new rye scoops/chips too!
Extra efficient and speedy delivery. As always fresh and mouthwateringly delicious. I'm a convert to Rairai and I'm doing my best to introduce this delicious Finnish bread to all my friends.
Fantastic to have proper Finnish rye bread. Saw the advert in Helsinki airport but thought it's too good to be true, and yet here we are. Definitely getting a subscription. Eat it everyday. Delicious. Exactly as it should be. Have always wanted it in the UK... So happy now can!
Exceeded my expectations and is now a daily staple! So flavorful and versatile with both sweet and savory toppings. I shared some bags with friends who are loving it too! Looking forward to seeing the hype of this product and it being in all supermarkets 💪
My dream for the past 40 years has been to be able to buy and eat proper Finnish rye bread every day. Now that dream has come true. I am able to have the bread delived to my door in just a couple of days! Thank you rairai.
Can I change how often my subscription is delivered?
Yes. The default delivery frequency is set to 4 weeks, but you can change it to whatever suits you once your subscription is set up. In your customer portal, you can choose any future delivery date—whether that’s weekly, monthly, or several months apart. You’ll also receive a reminder email before each order, so you can adjust the timing whenever you need to.
Does RaiRai Rye Bread contain sourdough?
Yes, RaiRai rye bread is made using a live sourdough fermented rye starter, it adds depth of flavour a unique crumb texture and enhances the nutritional content.
At RaiRai, we use a traditional sourdough rye starter from our ancient mother culture, slowly fermented. Research shows this process has been found to help unlock nutrients, improving digestibility, and enhancing the taste.
What’s the difference between RaiRai and other rye bread?
Unlike dense, sour German-style supermarket ryes, RaiRai is Finnish-style: soft, mildly malty, and made with wholegrain rye and a fermented rye starter.
Pre-sliced and easy to toast or sandwich, it's rye you'll actually want to eat every day.
How should I store the bread for freshness?
Your rye bread will arrive with at least 4 days left before the best before date. We suggest you freeze on delivery— it keeps perfectly for up to 6 months, so you’re always a thaw and toast away from the perfect slice!
Is RaiRai bread gluten-free?
No. RaiRai is made from cereals continuing gluten: wheat, rye, and barley. As it contains gluten it’s not suitable for those living with coeliac disease or a wheat intolerance.
Is RaiRai rye bread suitable for vegetarians & vegans?
Yes, RaiRai contains no animal products.
Please be aware we bake in a facility that also handles egg, so there’s a small risk of cross-contact from an allergen perspective.
Can I freeze RaiRai bread?
Yes! We recommend you freeze on delivery and eat within 6 months for best results. You can toast from frozen or leave to thaw for before you need it.
RaiRai rye bread can also be stored at room temperature, see the best before date on pack.
Where do you ship to?
