Does RaiRai Rye Bread contain sourdough?

Yes, RaiRai rye bread is made using a live sourdough fermented rye starter, it adds depth of flavour a unique crumb texture and enhances the nutritional content.

At RaiRai, we use a traditional sourdough rye starter from our ancient mother culture, slowly fermented. Research shows this process has been found to help unlock nutrients, improving digestibility, and enhancing the taste.

WhAT MAKES RaiRai different to rye bread FOUND in supermarketS?

Unlike dense, sour German-style supermarket ryes, RaiRai is Finnish-style: soft, mildly malty, and made with wholegrain rye and a fermented rye starter. Pre-sliced and easy to toast or sandwich, it's rye you'll actually want to eat every day.

What is the shelf life of my product?


Your rye bread will arrive with at least 4 days left before the best before date. We suggest you freeze on delivery— it keeps perfectly for up to 6 months, so you’re always a thaw and toast away from the perfect slice!





Can I eat RaiRai untoasted?


Yes absolutely! RaiRai can be enjoyed untoasted if you prefer. If you store frozen just make sure to thaw for 1-2 hours before you need it.

Is RaiRai rye bread gluten-free?

No. RaiRai is made from cereals continuing gluten: wheat, rye, and barley. As it contains gluten it’s not suitable for those living with coeliac disease or a wheat intolerance.


What allergens are in RaiRai?

RaiRai is made from cereals continuing gluten: wheat, rye, and barley So it's not suitable for those with an allergy to wheat, rye or barley.

It may also contain traces of egg, oats, sesame, and soya, as these are present in the bakery environment.

Is RaiRai rye bread suitable for vegetarians & vegans?

Yes, RaiRai contains no animal products.

Please be aware we bake in a facility that also handles egg, so there’s a small risk of cross-contact from an allergen perspective.

How much is shipping?

UK shipping is £4.00 or free for orders of 2 or more boxes.

How will my product be delivered?

We ship with DPD Next Day Mon-Thurs. See shipping schedule below.

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship UK wide. Unfortunately, at this time, we don't ship to Northern Ireland.

Shipping Schedule

Orders will be delivered with DPD next day. We aim to dispatch all orders the working day after you order.

For example:

  • If you order Monday, your order will dispatch Tuesday and be delivered Wednesday
  • If you order Thursday—Sunday, your order will dispatch Monday and be delivered Tuesday.

Please note during busy periods and over bank holidays dispatch will be within 2 days.

Can I change my order/delivery address after I have already ordered?

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, email us at support@rairai.com and we’ll do our best to help.

Once your order is dispatched, we can’t make any changes.

Where is my order?

You can track your order using the DPD link sent in your confirmation email. If you’re having issues, drop us a message at support@rairai.com.

My product has arrived damaged?

Oh no! If your product has arrived damaged, email us at support@rairai.com and we’ll be happy to help.

SUBSCRIPTION

How do I manage my subscription?

You can manage your subscription in the customer portal (the little person top right of the homepage). From here you can track deliveries, update billing or addresses, change delivery frequency, or view your order history.
