RECIPE INSPO
RaiRai is best when lightly toasted. Seriously—it brings out the rich, malty flavour and gives you that perfect soft crunch. Lightly toast it before you build a sandwich or eat it simply covered in butter.

Can I change how often my subscription is delivered?
Yes. The default delivery frequency is set to 4 weeks, but you can change it to whatever suits you once your subscription is set up. In your customer portal, you can choose any future delivery date—whether that’s weekly, monthly, or several months apart. You’ll also receive a reminder email before each order, so you can adjust the timing whenever you need to.
Does RaiRai Rye Bread contain sourdough?
Yes, RaiRai rye bread is made using a live sourdough fermented rye starter, it adds depth of flavour a unique crumb texture and enhances the nutritional content.
At RaiRai, we use a traditional sourdough rye starter from our ancient mother culture, slowly fermented. Research shows this process has been found to help unlock nutrients, improving digestibility, and enhancing the taste.
What’s the difference between RaiRai and other rye bread?
Unlike dense, sour German-style supermarket ryes, RaiRai is Finnish-style: soft, mildly malty, and made with wholegrain rye and a fermented rye starter.
Pre-sliced and easy to toast or sandwich, it's rye you'll actually want to eat every day.
How should I store the bread for freshness?
Your rye bread will arrive with at least 4 days left before the best before date. We suggest you freeze on delivery— it keeps perfectly for up to 6 months, so you’re always a thaw and toast away from the perfect slice!
Is RaiRai bread gluten-free?
No. RaiRai is made from cereals continuing gluten: wheat, rye, and barley. As it contains gluten it’s not suitable for those living with coeliac disease or a wheat intolerance.
Is RaiRai rye bread suitable for vegetarians & vegans?
Yes, RaiRai contains no animal products.
Please be aware we bake in a facility that also handles egg, so there’s a small risk of cross-contact from an allergen perspective.
Can I freeze RaiRai bread?
Yes! We recommend you freeze on delivery and eat within 6 months for best results. You can toast from frozen or leave to thaw for before you need it.
RaiRai rye bread can also be stored at room temperature, see the best before date on pack.
Where do you ship to?
